About Techblazers
TechBlazers, an educational center specializing in robotics, programming, and 3D design, is seeking a skilled STEM Instructor to join our team. As a STEM instructor, you will primarily focus on teaching robotics courses at TechBlazers and our collaborative private school. You need to contribute Monday to Friday from 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm , as well as on Saturday and Sunday. Experience with Scratch and Python.
Job Type: Part time
Responsibilities:
- To encourage students to learn Scratch and Python (also Java and C++) based on our curriculum and teaching materials
- Encourage students to solve problems with the projects by thinking logically and creatively.
- Implement all policies and rules governing student life, inform students of reasonable rules concerning classroom procedures and behaviors, and maintain a safe and orderly classroom environment.
- Assess the accomplishments of students in a variety of ways on a regular basis and provide feedback to parents and management.
Qualifications
- Experienced with or studied in STEM-related fields such as Science, Technologies, Engineering, and Math.
- Proficiency in Scratch, Python, Java, or C++.
- Passionate about teaching and experienced in motivating children to learn and explore new ideas in class.
- Previous experience with Robotics Design and Software Development is a plus.
Location: Richmond hill location or Oakville location
The schedule for this role is Monday to Friday 3.30 pm to 5.30 pm or every weekend, and the work will be conducted in person.
